Group Facilitator: Carole J. Martin, LMHC, CASAC, NCC, CFT
Carole J. Martin is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and Credentialed Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Counselor. She has worked in the field of addiction for the past 10 years and has over 30 years of experience with eating disorders.

Are you always on a diet or cheating on a diet? Do you eat when you are not hungry? Do you binge? Do you sneak eat? Do you have a history of being able to lose weight or gain it back, and not being able to maintain a healthy body weight even if you do achieve your goal? Are you ashamed of your eating or weight? Are you unhealthy because of your relationship with food? Do you think about food more than you would like to? Do you ever think your life would be perfect if only you could lose the weight?

This group is designed to aid participants in developing an awareness of the connection between emotional processing and compulsive eating and compulsive food behaviors. Participants will be guided and encouraged to develop inner coping skills to take charge of their lives without the need for excessive food. Insight and awareness will be encouraged and taught. Group support will be provided.
